Do I Sound Aloof?

Do I sound aloof?
When you ask me to
write you love notes,
and I express myself in poem.
When you seek my attention,
and to me,
each of the rest becomes an alien.
When you look at me,
with timid blur in your eyes,
and I comfort you confessing nothing.
When you open your arms wide,
to feel me in your warm embrace,
and I bend to meet your lips,
Do I really sound aloof?
